Morning Song
Yash Seyedbagheri
morning sun breaks through the shadows
up and down country road
golden light
shimmers among cathedral pines
slender arms reaching to hug you
in verdant garments
pale blue sky puffed with clouds
calls you to climb a hill
a curve
another hill
where cabins dart out, playing peek-a-boo
from obligations
morning sings like birds
shadows are breaking
