We talked each other down ledges

How’s it hanging?
Could be worse
Yeah?
Yeah, we could both be falling
It doesn’t hurt?
Faster than falling asleep
What do you need?
Your voice
Is that enough?
As long as I’m here
Can you speak?
No, I can hear

They said hearing goes last?
I love you...

I’m so sorry I’m not there.

I didn’t want to swallow my tongue
Just pills and waves
I can hear them.

The Waves.

“I lost him.” my heart falls
The echo radiates my blood, his blood
Crashing against my ribcage
Cages come in all shapes
Isolated from others, cut them off to cope.
Climb far away, away from here.

“….Hey, man”
Hey..

Let’s go for a ride.
Why, what can that do?
The ledges, the mountains
Climb to the other side
Jumping off only hurts more
Grounding comes first, Yusuf is on the radio.
As long as we don’t fly.
